  Pastor Rosie Knight Walker

It is Pastor Rosie Walker's belief in God's Word that says: �Eyes hath not seen, nor ears heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things, which God hath prepared for them that love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9

Pastor Rosie Walker is a native of Alabama City, Alabama. She is the wife of 32 years to the Rev. Dr. John H. Walker, Pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church of Charlotte and co-labors in the ministry alongside her husband. She serves as a Christian counselor for the Macedonia Baptist Church and is majoring in Christian Counseling at Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburg, Indiana. 

God has blessed her and ordained her to be a teacher of the Word of God and a Spiritual Leader.  On numerous occasions, she has been invited to preach and present seminars on "The Power of Prayer", "Developing a Prayer Life" and "Faith in God".

On January 30, 2005, Minister Walker released her new book entitled And She Shall Wear A Crown, during a double book release with her husband and our Pastor, Dr. John H. Pastor Walker is the founder of the Women of Prayer Ministry that meets the Saturday before the 1st Sunday of every month. She is also the founder of the Virtuous Women and Her Jewels Mentoring Ministry, designed to embrace the young girls of the community. In July 2004, two new ministries were birthed from the vision of our First Lady: The Women of Prayer Voices of Praise Choir and the Women of Prayer Praise in Motion Dancers. In August 2004, two further manifestations of our First Lady's vision were birthed: an Aerobics class and a Book Club! To God be the glory!

Pastor Rosie Walker blesses the Macedonia Church Family with her spiritual and heart felt singing, powerful praying and hands that possess God's anointing.

Pastor Rosie Walker answered God's calling to the ministry on August 13, 2000.

The Lord has blessed Pastor & Minister Walker with two musically anointed children; a daughter/songbird, Janetta Olivia Griffin, husband Jamaal Griffin and a son/organist, John II; and three grandchildren, Johnathon, Jamaal and Jada.
